ChanelClassic Small Double Flap Bag

Q: What size is this Chanel Classic Small Double Flap Bag?
A: This is the Small model, measuring approximately 23 cm wide, 14 cm high and 6 cm deep. Use these measurements when comparing it with other Chanel flap bags, as dimensions can vary between versions.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: It is best suited to a compact selection of essentials, such as a phone, cardholder, a few keys and a lipstick. The inner flap takes up some space, so avoid bulky wallets and overfilling. Phone fit depends on the handset and case; the exterior measurements do not represent the usable interior space.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: The strap measurements are listed as approximately 24/42 cm for the shorter and longer carrying configurations. It can be worn on the shoulder, while crossbody comfort will depend on your height, build and clothing. The longer configuration may sit quite high when worn across the body, so compare the measurements with a bag you already own.

Q: What does double flap mean?
A: Double flap means the bag has an outer flap and a second flap covering the main interior compartment. This creates an additional layer over your belongings, but also leaves less usable space than a similarly sized single-flap bag.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior has light creasing in the leather, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs alongside these condition notes.

Q: What comes with the bag?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag, box and dust bag. An authenticity card is not listed among the included items.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: This bag is listed as beige, and its country of origin is France.

Q: How can I help prevent colour transfer onto the beige leather?
A: Avoid prolonged contact with dark or strongly dyed clothing, especially where the bag rests against your body. Chanel recommends keeping light and dark colours apart to minimise colour bleeding. This is particularly worth considering when styling a beige bag with dark denim.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft cloth and avoid cleaning products that could damage the finish. Protect it from prolonged sunlight, heat and moisture; if it gets wet, carefully blot it with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth. Do not overfill it, and store it in its dust bag with the chain positioned so it does not press into the leather.
