ChanelCoco Mark Card Holder

Q: How many cards does the Chanel Coco Mark Card Holder realistically hold?
A: With two external slots and one central compartment, it comfortably fits around 4–6 standard cards. We suggest one card per external slot and 2–3 in the central compartment to avoid stretching the leather over time.

Q: Can it carry cash or coins?
A: Folded banknotes fit neatly in the central compartment. Coins are not recommended as this open, slim design does not have a zip compartment, so small items may slip out and can cause the leather to bulge.

Q: Will my ID or travel card fit?
A: Yes. Standard credit‑card sized IDs and travel cards fit easily. At approximately 11 × 8 × 0.5 cm, this holder also slips into most mini bags, pockets and smaller compartments.

Q: Is the leather likely to stretch if I overfill it?
A: Leather slots do relax with use. To preserve the structure and quilting, avoid double‑stacking too many cards in one slot and rotate what you carry so the leather doesn’t remain under constant stress.

Q: Does this card holder have RFID‑blocking technology?
A: No, Chanel card holders are not designed with RFID‑shielding. Many experts consider contactless skimming risk to be low; if you prefer extra protection, use a slim RFID sleeve inside the central compartment.

Q: Where are Chanel card holders typically made?
A: Chanel small leather goods are commonly produced in Italy or Spain. The exact country of origin varies by piece and is usually stamped inside; please review our photos or ask us to confirm for this item.

Q: What accessories are included with this piece?
A: This item comes with a box, dust bag, booklet and a serial number tag. If an accessory isn’t listed here, it is not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this item and what about Chanel microchips?
A: Every piece at A Retro Tale undergoes multi‑point authentication by our specialists, including materials, stitching, stamps and hardware checks. Chanel began phasing out serial stickers and plastic authenticity cards in favour of an internal microchipped plate from 2021; depending on year and model, your item may feature either system. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth, keep away from water and prolonged sunlight/heat, and avoid contact with abrasive or colour‑transfer‑prone fabrics. Store it in the dust bag when not in use and avoid overfilling to maintain the quilting and edge paint. Silver‑tone hardware may show fine hairline scratches with normal use; handle with care and store separately from hard objects.

Q: Is this card holder unisex?
A: Yes. Its minimalist silhouette and black quilted leather make it a versatile, unisex accessory suitable for any pocket or bag.
