Q: What fits inside this Christian Dior Trotter Tote Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 30 x 26 x 12 cm, this tote is suited to daily essentials such as a purse, phone, keys, sunglasses, cosmetics pouch and a small diary or tablet. Capacity will vary depending on how you organise your items, so please refer to the Measurements in the product information for the best guide.

Q: Can this tote be carried on the shoulder?
A: The handle drop is approximately 22 cm, which may allow for shoulder carry depending on your frame and outerwear. It can also be comfortably carried by hand or on the forearm.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This bag is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows minor scuffing on the leather trim, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item includes a dust bag. For this specific piece, everything included is shown in the product information.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in France.

Q: Is the Christian Dior Trotter pattern considered a collectible vintage style?
A: Yes. The Trotter monogram is one of Dior’s most recognisable vintage signatures and remains popular on the pre-owned market thanks to its early-2000s appeal and instantly recognisable logo canvas look.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Dior Trotter canvas bag?
A: Handle it gently and avoid overloading it. For routine care, wipe the canvas lightly with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, excessive moisture, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Store it in its dust bag when not in use to help protect the material and maintain its shape.

Q: Does this bag have a serial number listed?
A: No serial number is listed in the product information for this item. This can happen with some vintage pieces, so buyers often rely on overall construction, materials, stitching, labels and provenance when assessing vintage Dior bags.

Q: How do I know this vintage Dior bag is authentic?
A: A Retro Tale states that its items are verified by in-house experts through a rigorous authentication process. In general, authentic vintage Dior bags are assessed through details such as materials, stitching quality, logo alignment, hardware finish and interior labels rather than one single feature alone.
