Capacity will vary slightly depending on how you organise your items, so please refer to the Measurements in the product information for the best guide.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This Softbit Bag features a single leather handle with an approximate handle drop of 15 cm, which may allow for shoulder carry depending on your frame and outfit. It can also be carried comfortably in the hand or on the crook of the arm.

Q: What materials and details does this specific piece have?
A: This vintage Gucci Softbit Bag is crafted in brown pebbled leather with gold-tone hardware and a tonal suede lining. It is made in Italy and has the relaxed, softly structured look associated with the Softbit line.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This item is listed in very good condition, with light traces of use to the exterior and interior. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle prior wear on a vintage piece.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No extra items are included with this bag. Please refer to the product information for the most accurate list of what is included with your purchase.

Q: How should I care for vintage pebbled leather and suede lining?
A: We recommend storing the bag loosely filled with tissue to help maintain its shape and keeping it in a dry, shaded place when not in use. Wipe the leather gently with a soft dry cloth, avoid overfilling, and take extra care around the suede lining, as it can mark more easily than smooth textile interiors.

Q: Is brown a versatile colour for everyday use?
A: Yes. Brown is widely considered one of the most wearable Softbit shades, as it pairs easily with black, cream, denim, navy and earthy tones. It offers a classic look that works well across seasons and occasions.

Q: How do you authenticate Gucci vintage bags?
A: At A Retro Tale, all items are reviewed for authenticity by experts, with attention paid to details such as materials, construction, hardware and brand markings. If you would like more information about this item’s authenticity process, please contact customer care.
