Louis VuittonMonogram Keepall 45 Weekend Bag

Q: What are the measurements of this Louis Vuitton Monogram Keepall 45?
A: This bag measures approximately 46 cm wide × 30 cm high × 20 cm deep. The handle measurement is 10 cm. These are the measurements recorded for this individual vintage piece, rather than the standard dimensions of a new Keepall 45.

Q: What can I fit inside the Keepall 45?
A: It is a practical size for an overnight stay or a lightly packed weekend away. You could pack a change of clothes, toiletries and small travel essentials, with room for shoes depending on how much else you carry. Capacity varies with the size of your belongings and how you pack.

Q: Can I use this bag as cabin luggage?
A: The Keepall 45 is commonly used as cabin luggage, but acceptance is not guaranteed. Compare this piece's measurements of 46 × 30 × 20 cm with your airline's current size and weight allowance, including any rules about handles. Do not assume it qualifies as an under-seat personal item, as that allowance may be smaller.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No shoulder strap is included. This is listed as a classic Keepall 45, rather than a Keepall Bandoulière, and is intended to be carried by its two handles.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: The product information states that no accessories are included. The bag therefore comes without additional items such as a shoulder strap, padlock, keys, luggage tag, dust bag or box.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: It is rated Very Good Condition. The vachetta leather shows patina, minor watermarks and light wear on the handles and trim. The interior is also rated Very Good, with light traces of use. The hardware has verdigris on the rivets, along with light scratches and tarnishing.

Q: Is the Monogram exterior leather?
A: The classic Monogram Keepall has a coated canvas body with natural vachetta leather handles and trim; it is not an all-leather bag. This piece is brown, and its leather trim has developed the patina described in the condition information.

Q: How should I care for the canvas and vachetta leather?
A: Avoid abrasive surfaces, prolonged sunlight, direct heat, moisture, oils, perfume and alcohol-based products. If the surface becomes wet, gently blot it with a soft, light-coloured, lint-free absorbent cloth. Do not use soap or solvents, or attempt to scrub away the existing patina and watermarks. Store it in a breathable protective bag when not in use; a dust bag is not included with this item.

Q: Where was this Keepall 45 made?
A: The country-of-origin information for this individual bag states France. Its recorded code is SP0961.
