Louis VuittonMonogram Pochette Métis Braided Bag

Q: What makes the Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette Métis Braided Bag different from the classic version?
A: This version features a distinctive braided leather top handle, adding detail to the familiar Pochette Métis satchel silhouette. This particular bag also includes a bag charm.

Q: What is the bag made from?
A: The Monogram Braided version is made from Louis Vuitton’s brown Monogram coated canvas with leather trim and a braided leather handle. The patterned canvas exterior is not an all-leather construction.

Q: What are the measurements of this bag?
A: This specific bag measures 24 cm wide, 20 cm high and 7 cm deep. The handle measurement is 7 cm, and the adjustable strap measurement is listed as 60 cm. These item-specific measurements take precedence over standard dimensions quoted elsewhere for the Pochette Métis.

Q: What can I fit inside the Pochette Métis?
A: It is suited to everyday essentials such as a smartphone, a compact wallet, keys, earphones and small cosmetics. Sunglasses may also fit, depending on the size of their case and your other belongings. Its compartments reduce the space available for bulky items, so avoid overfilling it or forcing the flap closed.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody or on the shoulder?
A: Yes, the Pochette Métis Braided design can be carried by its top handle or worn on the shoulder or crossbody using its adjustable strap. The strap measurement for this item is listed as 60 cm; the position and comfort of the bag will depend on your height, build and chosen adjustment.

Q: How is the interior organised, and how does the bag close?
A: The Monogram Pochette Métis Braided design has three interior compartments and a rear zipped pocket for keeping smaller essentials separate. The front flap is secured by Louis Vuitton’s signature S-lock closure.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This bag is rated Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs alongside these condition details before purchasing.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: A bag charm is listed in the product information. A box, dust bag or authenticity card is not listed, so please do not assume these are included.

Q: How should I clean and care for this bag?
A: Gently clean the coated canvas with a soft, damp cloth and slightly soapy water, keeping this cleaning method away from the leather trim and handle. Avoid alcohol-based products, oils, leather lotions and harsh cleaners. If the leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free cloth. Store the bag away from direct sunlight, heat and damp conditions.
