Louis VuittonTaiga Belt, size 110

Q: What does size 110 mean on this Louis Vuitton belt?
A: Louis Vuitton belt sizes are given in centimetres and are usually based on the distance to the regular fastening point rather than the full strap length. Size 110 is best checked against a belt you already wear by measuring from the buckle pin to the hole you use most.

Q: How should this belt fit?
A: A belt like this is usually most practical when it fastens around the centre hole, which leaves some room for adjustment in either direction. If you already own a belt that fits well, comparing that measurement is the safest guide.

Q: How wide is the belt?
A: The listed width is approximately 3 cm, giving it a neat, versatile profile that works well with both denim and tailored trousers. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact dimensions.

Q: What is Taiga leather?
A: Taiga is Louis Vuitton’s textured cowhide leather, appreciated for its understated finish, structured look and good day-to-day durability. It is a great option if you prefer a quieter, more discreet style than monogram canvas.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: This item is listed in Good Condition with light traces of use to the leather. The hardware has scratches and discoloration, which is consistent with a pre-owned vintage piece.

Q: Does this belt come with a box or dust bag?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories.

Q: What does the serial number CT1924 mean, and does it prove authenticity?
A: CT is a Louis Vuitton factory code associated with France, and in the 1990 to 2006 date-code format the digits read as December 1994. A date code is helpful for dating a vintage item, but it does not prove authenticity on its own. A Retro Tale states that every item it sells is authenticated by its in-house experts.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Taiga leather belt?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water, oils, perfume and harsh cleaning products. Avoid fastening it too tightly, and store it flat or loosely rolled in a dry place away from direct sunlight and abrasive surfaces.
