LoewePuffer Goya Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the LOEWE Puffer Goya Bag?
A: With its two‑compartment layout, it comfortably carries a large smartphone, compact wallet or cardholder, keys, lipstick, and slim sunglasses in a soft case, plus small essentials. Continental (long) wallets and tablets generally do not fit as well in this size. Please refer to the Measurements on this page (22 × 18 × 9 cm) or contact us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Is the chain strap adjustable or removable? Can I wear it crossbody?
A: The chain‑linked shoulder strap is typically not adjustable. The listed drop for this piece is 30 cm, which is ideal for shoulder wear; on most wearers it sits high if worn crossbody. If you’d like us to confirm carry options for your height, just ask.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: Puffer Goya bags commonly feature a flap with a magnetic closure for everyday security. This specific piece has two main compartments and two interior pockets to organise essentials. For valuables, we recommend using the interior pockets and keeping the bag upright while commuting. Please review our photos for the exact closure and pocket configuration on this item.

Q: What materials and hardware does this bag have?
A: This vintage edition is crafted in black puffed leather with gold‑tone hardware and a black leather lining. LOEWE bags are often made in Spain; our listing indicates this piece is made in Spain. The photos and description specify the exact materials and finish for this bag.

Q: How should I care for the puffed leather and hardware?
A: Keep leather away from moisture, oils and prolonged sunlight, and be mindful of colour transfer from denim. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth; condition smooth leather very sparingly with a neutral product (test first on a discreet area). To maintain the puffed structure, avoid overfilling and compression, and store the bag lightly stuffed, upright, in a breathable dust bag. Protect hardware from rubbing during storage to minimise hairline scratches.

Q: Will the chain leave marks on the soft leather?
A: Chain imprints can occur if the strap rests against the leather in storage. Tuck the chain inside with a protective felt/soft cloth, avoid overstuffing, and store the bag upright and lightly padded to preserve its shape and finish.

Q: Is the Puffer Goya still produced?
A: The Puffer Goya appears in LOEWE’s collections with seasonal variations; availability can vary by colour and hardware. The pre‑loved market is an excellent way to find specific editions like this vintage piece.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes located?
A: Authentic LOEWE bags feature an interior heat‑stamp (e.g., “LOEWE” and country of origin). Many include a small internal code or label, typically inside a pocket or along a seam. Placement and format can vary—contact us if you’d like close‑up photos for this item.

Q: Will my iPhone Pro/Max fit?
A: Most large smartphones fit comfortably, though very bulky cases may be snug. Compare your phone’s dimensions with the Measurements shown or ask us to check the fit against this specific bag before purchase.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Included items are listed under “Accessories”; this piece comes with a dust bag. If an accessory isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included—feel free to ask us to confirm. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps/codes and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of all pieces we sell.
