Q: What material and colour is this Lady Dior tote bag?
A: This vintage Christian Dior tote is made from brown nylon with Cannage, Dior’s signature quilted pattern. It features gold-tone hardware and Dior charms.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: The bag is in good overall condition. The exterior has light marks and scratches throughout, and the material feels slightly sticky. The interior is in very good condition with light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What are the measurements of this bag?
A: The dedicated measurement fields list a width of 42 cm, a height of 27 cm and a depth of 10 cm. The handle measurement is listed as 25 cm, although it is not specified whether this is the length or drop.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes, this tote has dual flat shoulder straps for shoulder carrying. No separate detachable shoulder strap is included. Fit over thicker clothing may vary, so please contact us if you need the strap drop confirmed.

Q: Will this bag fit a laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this particular bag. Compare your laptop and its sleeve with the listed dimensions of 42 cm wide, 27 cm high and 10 cm deep, and request the usable internal and zip-opening measurements before purchasing. External dimensions alone do not guarantee a suitable fit.

Q: How does the bag close, and does it have an internal pocket?
A: The bag has a top zip closure. Inside, it features beige jacquard lining and one internal zip pocket for organising smaller items.

Q: Does this bag come with a dust bag, box or other accessories?
A: The product information states that no accessories are included. A dust bag, box and separate shoulder strap are therefore not included; the bag’s built-in dual shoulder straps are part of the bag itself.

Q: Has this bag been authenticated?
A: According to the product information, this bag’s authenticity has been checked and verified by A Retro Tale’s experts, who have over 10 years of experience in vintage and luxury bags.

Q: Where was this bag made, and what year is it from?
A: The country of origin is listed as Italy. This is a vintage bag, but an exact production year is not provided for this item.

Q: How should I care for the nylon exterior, particularly the stickiness?
A: As the exterior is already slightly sticky, seek advice from a specialist handbag cleaner familiar with vintage nylon before attempting any treatment. Avoid scrubbing, soaking or applying household cleaning products, and do not assume that cleaning will remove the stickiness. Keep the bag away from spills, direct heat and prolonged sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
