Q: What typically fits inside this Christian Dior Small Lady Dior Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 20 x 17.5 x 6 cm, this size is best for daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses and a few beauty items. It has a structured silhouette, so slim items tend to fit best.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: Yes. This item includes a detachable shoulder strap, so it can be carried by the dual top handles or worn with the strap for hands-free use. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the listed strap measurement of 10/54.

Q: What are the exact measurements of this bag?
A: The bag measures approximately 20 cm in width, 17.5 cm in height and 6 cm in depth. As with all structured vintage bags, the interior capacity will feel a little more compact than the outer dimensions suggest.

Q: Does this bag have interior pockets or compartments?
A: Yes. It features a red jacquard lining with one internal zip pocket, which is useful for organising smaller essentials. The bag closes with a flap closure.

Q: What material and hardware does this bag have?
A: This piece is crafted in black Cannage quilted leather and finished with gold-tone hardware. The Lady Dior is known for its structured shape and signature quilted pattern, which gives it a polished and timeless look.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. There are light traces of use externally and internally, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. This means the bag presents very well while still showing gentle signs of previous wear.

Q: Is this a good size for everyday use?
A: Yes, if you prefer a compact, elegant bag for essentials rather than a larger daily carry. The small Lady Dior is often chosen for its balance of practicality and a refined, dressy look, making it suitable for both daytime and evening wear.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in Italy.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item includes a detachable shoulder strap. Everything included with the purchase is listed in the product information, so if another accessory is not mentioned there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I care for this bag?
A: To help preserve the leather and structure, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, avoid overfilling it, and handle the corners and flap gently. For routine care, use a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products on the leather or hardware.

Q: How do you authenticate pre-owned Dior bags?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully inspected by experts before sale. Authentication is based on a detailed review of materials, construction, hardware, stamps and overall consistency with the model.
