GucciBree Leather Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Gucci Bree Leather Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 35 x 31 x 14 cm, this bag is well suited to daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, notebook, cosmetic pouch and a small water bottle. It offers a roomy everyday format, but we recommend comparing the measurements on this page with any larger items you plan to carry.

Q: Can this bag be worn comfortably on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This Gucci Bree features dual flat shoulder straps with an approximate strap drop of 24 cm, making it suitable for shoulder carry for most users.

Q: Does the bag close securely?
A: Yes. This piece has a top zip closure, which helps keep your belongings more secure than an open-top tote and makes it a practical option for everyday use.

Q: How is the inside organised?
A: The bag is lined in canvas and includes one zip pocket and two slip pockets, which are useful for keeping smaller essentials organised and easy to reach.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: This item is rated in good condition. The exterior shows corner wear and rubbing, and there are cracks throughout the straps. Inside, there is discolouration and staining throughout the lining. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with all vintage pieces, signs of age and use are part of its character.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: This item includes a dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is listed under the product information section.

Q: Is this bag suitable for work or everyday use?
A: Yes, it is a practical everyday tote-style bag thanks to its roomy shape, shoulder straps, interior pockets and zip-top closure. Depending on the size of your devices or documents, it may also work well for light workday use, but we recommend checking the measurements carefully if you plan to carry a tablet or laptop.

Q: How should I care for the pebbled leather?
A: Pebbled leather is generally durable and relatively easy to maintain. Wipe the exterior gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid harsh cleaners, and store the bag in a dust bag away from direct heat, sunlight and humidity. To help preserve the shape, store it lightly stuffed when not in use.

Q: What should I know about the cracked straps?
A: The straps currently show cracks throughout, so it is best to handle the bag with care and avoid overloading it. If desired, a specialist leather repair service may be able to assess whether conditioning, reinforcement or strap restoration is appropriate.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully inspected for authenticity by experienced experts before being offered for sale.
