HermèsPoisson Card Holder

Q: What is distinctive about the Hermès Poisson card holder?
A: Its playful fish-inspired design features a Clou de Selle detail representing the fish’s eye. This example is multicoloured.

Q: How many cards can it hold?
A: Hermès describes the Poisson design as having two credit-card slots. It is best suited to a small selection of essential cards; avoid overfilling the slots, which may stretch the leather.

Q: What are the measurements of this card holder?
A: This example measures 9.7 cm wide and 6 cm high. No depth measurement is provided in the product information.

Q: Is it suitable for coins or a large amount of cash?
A: It is designed primarily for cards rather than as a full wallet. If you regularly carry coins, notes or receipts, a larger wallet may be more practical.

Q: What material is the Poisson design made from?
A: Hermès describes the Poisson card holder as made from Mysore goatskin, a supple leather with a distinctive grain.

Q: Is this card holder new?
A: This is a second-hand item listed in Like New condition, not as brand new. The exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the shiny hardware has light scratches.

Q: Does it come with a box?
A: Yes, a box is listed with this item. Please check the product information for the included accessories; other accessories are not specified.

Q: How should I care for it?
A: Keep it away from prolonged sunlight, heat, moisture, oils and perfume. If it gets wet, gently blot it with a soft, lint-free cloth. Store it in a dry place when not in use, and avoid overfilling it.

Q: Will it fit in a pocket or small bag?
A: Its 9.7 × 6 cm measurements make it a compact choice for carrying essential cards. Fit will depend on the size of your pocket or bag, so compare those measurements before purchasing.
