Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Epi Sac D'Épaule PM Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 27 × 29 × 15 cm, this bag is well suited to daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, and a compact water bottle or umbrella. It may also fit a small tablet or e-reader, depending on how you pack. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Is this bag comfortable to wear on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The Sac D'Épaule PM is designed as a shoulder bag and features an adjustable strap. For this item, the strap measurement is approximately 39 cm adjustable, allowing a flexible shoulder fit depending on styling preference and frame.

Q: Does this bag have a secure closure?
A: This model is known for its open-top bucket-style construction with a front strap-style fastening detail, which offers easier access than a zip-top bag. As with most vintage open-top shoulder bags, it is best suited to everyday essentials that you want to reach quickly while still keeping the silhouette elegant and structured.

Q: What are the benefits of Louis Vuitton Epi leather?
A: Epi leather is prized for its textured finish, structure, and durability. It tends to be more resistant to everyday scratches and wear than many smoother leathers, which makes it a popular choice for vintage Louis Vuitton shoulder bags intended for regular use.

Q: How should I care for vintage Epi leather?
A: Gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, oils, and excessive moisture. Store the bag away from direct sunlight, humidity, and heat, ideally in its dust bag, and lightly stuff it to help maintain the shape when not in use.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This item is in very good condition with light traces of use. The exterior and interior are both noted as very good, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. As a vintage piece, minor signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This bag comes with product information including a dust bag. If an accessory is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in France, which is consistent with many vintage Louis Vuitton pieces from the Epi line.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted for authenticity by specialists who assess construction, materials, hardware, branding details, and other model-specific characteristics. You can shop knowing that authenticity is a key part of the evaluation process.
