Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette Florentine Belt Bag?
A: This is a compact belt bag measuring approximately 16.5 x 10 x 4 cm, so it is best for small essentials such as cards, keys, lip balm, cash and other slim daily items. A bulky wallet or larger items may not fit comfortably, so we recommend comparing your essentials with the Measurements listed on this page.

Q: How can this bag be worn?
A: The Pochette Florentine is primarily designed to be worn as a belt bag for hands-free use. It can also be carried as a small pouch or clutch when not worn on the waist.

Q: Does this item come with a strap?
A: Yes, this piece includes a strap. For the most accurate details on what is included with this item, please refer to the product information.

Q: Will another belt or strap fit this style?
A: This model has slim loops at the back, so it generally works best with narrow belts or straps rather than wider ones. If you are considering an alternative, it is best to compare the width carefully before purchase.

Q: What does the date code FL0042 mean?
A: The date code indicates production in France in April 2002. As with all Louis Vuitton pieces, the date code helps identify when and where the item was made, but overall authenticity should always be assessed through the full construction and details of the bag.

Q: Is the Pochette Florentine a discontinued Louis Vuitton model?
A: Yes, the Pochette Florentine is a discontinued Louis Vuitton style, which is one reason it remains popular on the vintage and second-hand market.

Q: How should I care for this bag?
A: To care for a vintage Monogram Pochette Florentine, wipe the coated canvas gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid overexposure to rain, heat and direct sunlight. The natural leather trim can darken over time, so it should be kept away from oils, moisture and harsh cleaning products. Store the bag in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Q: What is the condition of this particular item?
A: This item is in very good condition overall. The exterior shows minor signs of wear on the leather trim, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.
