Q: What size is this Prada tote bag, and what typically fits inside?
A: This bag measures approximately 36 x 20 x 11 cm. It is well suited to everyday essentials such as a purse, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and a compact tablet or notebook. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This Prada tote features dual flat shoulder straps and a strap drop of approximately 19 cm, making it suitable for comfortable shoulder carry for most users.

Q: Does the bag close securely?
A: Yes. This bag has a top zip closure, which helps keep your belongings secure while giving the tote a clean, practical everyday shape.

Q: What pockets and interior details does this bag have?
A: The bag features one exterior zip pocket for quick-access essentials. Inside, it is lined in green leather, giving the piece a refined contrast to the black grained leather exterior.

Q: What materials and hardware does this bag feature?
A: This vintage Prada tote is crafted from black grained leather and finished with gold-tone hardware. It is labelled as made in Italy.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is Very Good. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As this is a vintage item, gentle signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: This item includes a dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is listed in the product information. If something is not listed there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I care for vintage Prada leather?
A: For day-to-day care, gently wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth and store the bag in its dust bag in a well-ventilated place away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Avoid harsh cleaning products and unnecessary contact with water, as vintage leather benefits from gentle handling.

Q: Can the interior lining be cleaned in the same way as the outside?
A: It is best to be cautious with the interior. Prada advises that bag linings are an integral part of the bag and are not generally suited to targeted maintenance in the same way as the exterior. To preserve the lining, avoid spills, ink marks and overloading the bag.

Q: How can I shop this vintage Prada bag with confidence?
A: When buying pre-owned Prada, shoppers commonly look for details such as leather quality, logo execution, hardware finish, lining and overall construction. At A Retro Tale, authenticity is carefully checked, and the item description reflects the specific details and condition of this individual bag.
