Saint LaurentCoin Purse

Q: What typically fits inside this Saint Laurent coin purse?
A: With its compact 12 x 7 cm format, it is best suited to coins, folded notes, a few cards and other very small essentials. It is ideal as a compact organiser inside a larger bag rather than for carrying bulkier everyday items.

Q: Will a phone fit inside?
A: No. This piece is much too small for a phone and is designed for coins, cards and similarly small necessities only.

Q: Can this coin purse be clipped onto another bag or key set?
A: Yes. It features a chain attachment with a hook clasp and YSL logo charm, so it can be attached to another bag or used as a decorative and practical pouch for small essentials. It is not designed to be worn as a shoulder or crossbody bag.

Q: Does it have card slots inside?
A: No dedicated card slots are listed for this piece. Cards would be stored loose inside the main zipped compartment.

Q: What material is this coin purse made from?
A: This vintage Saint Laurent coin purse is crafted in pink metallic quilted leather with silver-tone hardware, a black leather lining and a zip closure. It is made in Italy.

Q: What is the condition of this item?
A: It is in very good vintage condition. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: What is included with the coin purse?
A: A dust bag is included. Everything included with the item is listed in the product information on this page.

Q: How should I care for metallic quilted leather?
A: Metallic leather benefits from gentle handling. Wipe it softly with a dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid abrasive rubbing, perfume, oils and prolonged exposure to heat or direct sunlight, and store it in its dust bag when not in use to help protect the finish.

Q: Is this item authentic and pre-owned?
A: Yes. This is a vintage pre-owned Saint Laurent piece, and A Retro Tale states that every item it sells is authenticated by its in-house experts before listing.
