Bottega VenetaIntrecciato Boston Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Boston Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 31 × 22 × 15 cm, this Boston Bag is well suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, cosmetics pouch and a small tablet or notebook. It offers a practical everyday capacity while keeping a structured, elegant shape.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: This style is designed primarily as a handheld or arm-carry Boston bag. The handle drop is approximately 19 cm, so some wearers may be able to carry it on the shoulder depending on build and clothing, but it is best thought of as a top-handle style.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No. There is no shoulder strap listed in the product information for this item. If a strap is not mentioned in the product information, it is not included.

Q: What accessories are included with this bag?
A: This item includes a padlock and key. Everything included with the bag is listed in the product information.

Q: What is Intrecciato, and why is it special?
A: Intrecciato is Bottega Veneta’s signature woven leather technique and one of the house’s most recognisable design codes. It is appreciated for its refined craftsmanship, understated luxury and soft, tactile finish rather than visible logos.

Q: How should I care for this bag?
A: To help preserve the woven leather, avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes, make-up, rough surfaces and prolonged direct sunlight or heat. Store it in a cool, dry place and keep it lightly stuffed when not in use so it helps maintain its shape. A soft, dry cloth is usually best for gentle surface cleaning.

Q: Is woven Intrecciato leather durable for everyday use?
A: Yes, Intrecciato leather is valued for both craftsmanship and everyday elegance, but like all luxury leather it should be handled with care. The woven construction can show wear at corners, handles and high-contact areas over time, so gentle use and careful storage are recommended.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This bag is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please review the product images and condition notes for the best representation of its current state.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully checked for authenticity by specialists. For Bottega Veneta pieces, authenticity is typically assessed through details such as the quality of the leather, weave consistency, construction, hardware and interior markings.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in Italy.
