Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel Classic Medium Double Flap Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 25 cm wide, 16 cm high and 6 cm deep.

Q: What can I fit inside the bag?
A: The Medium Classic Double Flap is suited to everyday essentials such as a smartphone, compact wallet or cardholder, keys and lipstick. The inner flap takes up some space, so bulky purses and large sunglasses cases may limit capacity. Fit depends on the dimensions of your belongings; avoid overfilling the bag.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The chain can be doubled for a shorter shoulder carry or extended for a longer shoulder carry, with approximate strap drops of 21 cm and 41 cm. Crossbody wear may be possible, but the bag can sit quite high depending on your height and build. Compare the longer drop with a bag you already own to assess the fit.

Q: What does double flap mean?
A: Double flap describes the outer flap and an additional inner flap covering the main compartment. This creates a more layered interior than a single-flap design.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: The exterior is rated Very Good, with minor wear and rubbing on the corners. The interior is also rated Very Good, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs alongside these condition details.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: This bag is beige, and its country-of-origin label indicates France.

Q: Does this bag come with a box or authenticity card?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag. A box, dust bag and authenticity card are not listed, so please do not assume they are included. Contact A Retro Tale if you need confirmation before purchasing.

Q: How can I reduce the risk of colour transfer onto the beige exterior?
A: Avoid prolonged contact and repeated rubbing against dark or heavily dyed clothing, particularly denim. Chanel recommends limiting contact between light and dark colours to minimise colour transfer.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Avoid overfilling it and protect it from prolonged sunlight, heat and humidity. When not in use, support its shape with clean tissue paper and store it in a protective pouch, keeping the chain positioned so it does not press into the exterior. As the material is not specified in the product information, seek material-specific advice before applying cleaning or conditioning products.
