ChanelCoco Mark Emoji Hairband

Q: What size is the Chanel Coco Mark Emoji Hairband and how does it fit?
A: It is a one-size style with a black elastic band designed to fit most adult head sizes comfortably. The decorative motif dimensions are shown in the Measurements on this page. If you are between sizes or prefer a very snug feel, place the elastic slightly lower at the back of the head for extra hold.

Q: How can I keep the hairband from slipping during wear?
A: Position the elastic so it sits just under the occipital bone, add a little texture to very silky hair (a light mist of texturising spray or dry shampoo), and, if needed, secure the elastic with two discreet hair grips crossed like an X. Avoid placing it on freshly washed, ultra-smooth hair for best grip.

Q: What is the piece made from?
A: This hairband features a pink resin base with multi‑coloured crystal emoji embellishment, a faux pearl and crystal border, silver‑tone hardware, the Chanel CC logo detail, and a black elastic band, as noted in the product information.

Q: How should I care for and clean it?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry, non‑pilling cloth. Avoid water, soap, detergents, perfume, hairspray, and other chemicals, as these can discolour resin, dull crystals, and affect metal finishes. Store it separately in its box when not in use to prevent scratches or knocks to the stones.

Q: Is it suitable for everyday wear or better for special occasions?
A: The playful crystal‑and‑pearl emoji motif makes it a standout for parties and events, but it can also elevate everyday looks. For long days, alternate wear and avoid tight styling to keep scalp pressure comfortable.

Q: Will the embellishments snag my hair?
A: The edges are smooth, but as with any embellished hair ornament, take care when removing. Hold the elastic at the back, gently lift it away from the hair, and slide forward to avoid catching strands around the crystals or hardware.

Q: Can the elastic be replaced if it stretches over time?
A: Yes. A professional jeweller, milliner, or specialist repair service can usually replace the elastic. We recommend a professional approach to protect the resin base and embellishments; contact us if you would like guidance.

Q: What does the stamping A17 K signify on Chanel pieces like this?
A: Chanel jewellery and hair ornaments often include a small stamp that combines the year with a season or collection letter. Codes commonly use letters such as P (spring), S (summer), A (autumn), C (cruise), and sometimes K/B (fall‑winter). On this item, the stamp reads A17 K, indicating the production period and collection for that year.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: A box is included. Everything that comes with the piece is listed under product information on this page; if you need clarification, please contact us.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this Chanel piece?
A: Every item is vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, construction, hardware, signature stamps, and overall quality. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can share additional photographs or details on request.
