ChanelPremiere S 20mm ca 2000 Watch

Q: What defines the Chanel Première S 20mm ca 2000 (Ref. H0001)?
A: A quintessential Première with an octagonal gold‑plated stainless‑steel case measuring approx. 26 x 20 mm, a glossy black lacquered dial, and the iconic chain bracelet interlaced with black leather. It is Swiss‑made and powered by a precise quartz movement.

Q: Is the watch quartz or automatic, and how long does the battery last?
A: It uses a Swiss quartz movement. Typical battery life is about 2–7 years depending on use. If the watch stops, replace the battery within roughly three months to avoid potential leakage that could harm the movement.

Q: What crystal does it use?
A: The Première H0001 is fitted with a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal for excellent clarity and durability.

Q: Is it water‑resistant and can I swim with it?
A: When new, many Première quartz models like the H0001 were rated to 30 metres. As this is a vintage piece, original water‑resistance cannot be guaranteed without current pressure‑testing. We recommend treating it as splash‑resistant only and avoiding swimming, showering or full submersion.

Q: Will this watch fit my wrist?
A: This specific piece is sized to fit a wrist circumference of up to 14 cm. Links can usually be removed to size down; lengthening would require sourcing additional links separately, which are not included with this watch.

Q: Is it solid gold?
A: No. The case and bracelet are gold‑plated over stainless steel, giving a luxurious look with the practicality of steel beneath.

Q: Can the interlaced leather in the bracelet be replaced?
A: Yes. Chanel and qualified watchmakers can service Première bracelets, including replacing the leather ribbon and checking the bracelet. Leather components naturally age and may need periodic replacement with wear.

Q: How do I set the time?
A: Gently pull the crown out to the time‑setting position (one click on most quartz Première models), rotate to set the hands, then push the crown back in firmly. Avoid forcing the crown and ensure it is fully pressed in after setting.

Q: What is the condition of this watch?
A: Rated Very Good, showing light traces of use. There are scratches on the case, case back and bracelet consistent with age, while the dial and movement present cleanly.

Q: What is included and is there a warranty?
A: This listing is sold as the watch only (no accessories). A Retro Tale guarantees 100% authenticity and provides a 12‑month movement warranty, plus secure, fully insured shipping and a 14‑day return policy.
