GucciGG Princy Tote Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the GG Princy Tote?
A: With approximate measurements of 37 × 22 × 10 cm, it comfortably holds everyday essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, a cosmetic pouch, a small water bottle and a tablet. A slim 13-inch laptop can also fit; please compare your device’s dimensions to the bag measurements for the best guidance.

Q: Does it take A4 documents or a laptop?
A: A4 documents fit when placed horizontally. A slim 13-inch laptop generally fits inside the main compartment; we recommend using a protective sleeve and checking your device’s measurements against the bag’s 37 × 22 × 10 cm profile.

Q: How does the bag close and how secure is it?
A: This piece has an open top. For added privacy and security, many clients use a zipped pouch or a bag organiser inside.

Q: Can it be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The dual flat handles have an approximate 20 cm drop, allowing comfortable shoulder carry under light layers or by hand in the crook of the arm.

Q: What compartments does it have?
A: The interior is fabric lined with one internal zip pocket to keep small valuables organised. The main compartment is open for larger items.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This item is sold as shown. Please refer to the product information section on this page; if an item (for example, a dust bag or card) is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: How should I care for the GG canvas and metallic gold leather trim?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use. Avoid contact with water, oils, cosmetics and dyed materials that may transfer colour. Store stuffed to maintain shape in a breathable dust bag, away from direct heat or sunlight. For deeper cleaning, spot clean the canvas very lightly with mild soap and water and allow to air dry; for leather trim or stubborn stains, consult a professional handbag care service.

Q: Will light materials pick up colour transfer from denim?
A: Light canvas and leather can pick up dye from dark clothing. Minimise friction with new or unwashed denim, and avoid prolonged rubbing against heavily dyed garments. If transfer occurs, do not use harsh chemicals; seek professional cleaning advice.

Q: Is it authentic and does it have a serial number?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is authenticated by in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and model details. Many Gucci bags feature a heat‑stamped serial on the interior leather tag, but serials alone do not confirm authenticity. We are happy to share additional photos and details on request.

Q: Where was it made and what is the condition?
A: Made in Italy. Overall condition is very good with normal vintage character: minor corner scuffs outside, some stains in the lining, and light scratches on shiny hardware, all consistent with the description on this page.
