A: This piece is crafted in black leather with gold-tone hardware. It also features Gucci’s signature bamboo top handle and a black fabric lining with one internal zip pocket.

Q: What is the condition of this item?
A: The overall condition is Good Condition. There are visible signs of wear on the leather and bamboo handle, light traces of use inside, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As a vintage item, gentle signs of age and use are to be expected.

Q: How should I care for the leather and bamboo handle?
A: We recommend gentle handling and careful storage. Avoid overloading the bag, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, or moisture, and contact with rough surfaces. Wipe the leather lightly with a soft dry cloth, and store the bag in a cool, dry place when not in use. The bamboo handle is durable, but like any natural material on a vintage item, it should be treated with care.

Q: Is this an authentic vintage Gucci piece?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage and second-hand accessories, and this item is presented as an authentic Gucci vintage backpack made in Italy.

Q: Why is the bamboo handle such a signature Gucci detail?
A: Gucci’s bamboo handle is one of the house’s most recognisable design elements and is closely associated with the brand’s heritage and craftsmanship. It gives this mini backpack a timeless vintage character that stands out from more conventional leather backpacks.
