Q: What is Togo leather, and is it suitable for everyday use?
A: This bag is made from black Togo calfskin, a supple leather with a natural pebbled grain. It is valued for its durability and resistance to light scratches, making it a practical option for regular use. However, it is not scratch-proof and should still be handled with care.

Q: What can fit inside this Birkin 35, and will it hold a laptop?
A: Its generous size provides room for everyday essentials such as a purse, phone, diary and small cosmetic pouch. The black leather-lined interior has one zipped pocket and one slip pocket for smaller items. Laptop compatibility has not been confirmed for this particular bag: compare your device and its protective sleeve with the listed measurements, allowing for a smaller usable interior and restricted opening.

Q: Can this bag be worn over the shoulder or crossbody?

Q: Is the Birkin 35 heavy to carry?
A: Its size, leather construction and hardware can make it feel substantial, especially when filled with documents or electronics. The exact weight of this bag is not provided. Carrying comfort will depend on what you pack and how long you carry it; avoid overloading it.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This bag is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor signs of wear on the corners and slight loss of shape. A: According to the product information, this bag's authenticity has been checked and verified by A Retro Tale's experts, who have over 10 years of experience in vintage and luxury bags.

Q: How should I care for and store this Togo leather bag?
A: Gently remove surface dust with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Protect the leather from rain, oils, direct sunlight and heat, and avoid household cleaning products or DIY treatments. Seek specialist advice for stains or restoration. When not in use, store the bag in its dust bag, lightly filled with clean, soft material to support its shape without stretching it.
