Q: What size is the Louis Vuitton Greenwich PM Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 37 cm wide, 33 cm high and 22 cm deep, with a handle drop of about 14 cm. It offers a roomy silhouette that works well for daily use, overnight packing or carrying bulkier essentials.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: The Greenwich PM is a spacious handbag that can generally hold everyday essentials plus larger items such as a tablet, diary, water bottle, cosmetic pouch and a light extra layer. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate sense of scale.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No, this specific bag is designed to be carried by its double rolled leather handles. No shoulder strap is listed in the product information.

Q: What materials is this bag made from?
A: This vintage Louis Vuitton bag is crafted from Damier Ebene canvas with brown leather trim, finished with gold-tone hardware. It also features a brown textile lining, an internal zip pocket and a top zip closure.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This item is listed in very good condition overall. The exterior shows a light trace of use, the interior has minor stains, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What does the date code AR4037 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes indicate the place and time of production rather than acting as a unique serial number. Based on the standard Louis Vuitton format used during this period, AR4037 indicates production in France in 2007. As with all luxury items, a date code is only one part of the overall authentication process.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: A Retro Tale carefully vets all items for authenticity before sale. For this piece, the listed details such as the Louis Vuitton model, construction, materials, made-in country and date code all support its identity as a vintage Louis Vuitton bag.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: This bag includes a name tag. If any other extras are not listed under the product information, they should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I care for Damier Ebene canvas and leather trim?
A: Wipe the coated canvas gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it afterwards. Avoid overfilling the bag, heavy rain, prolonged sun exposure and contact with oils or rough surfaces. To help preserve its shape, store it in a cool, dry place and keep it lightly stuffed when not in use.
