Louis VuittonEpi Laptop Case 17-Inch

Q: What size laptop fits inside this Louis Vuitton Laptop Case?
A: Although this model is named "17-Inch" (referencing the case's diagonal dimension), its width of approximately 35 cm is best suited for 13-inch to 14-inch laptops, such as the MacBook Pro 14" or MacBook Air. A standard 15-inch or 17-inch laptop will generally be too wide to fit. We strongly recommend comparing your device’s physical dimensions with the Measurements (35 x 26 x 2 cm) on this page to ensure a proper fit.

Q: Is this a standalone bag or a sleeve?
A: The Poche Ordinateur is designed primarily as a sleek, protective sleeve. It is intended to be carried under the arm as a document clutch or placed inside a larger briefcase or tote for extra protection. It features a secure zip closure and durable construction.

Q: What materials is this case made from?
A: It is crafted from Louis Vuitton’s signature Epi leather in Black (Noir), a durable, textured leather known for its water resistance and structure. The interior is lined with blue Alcantara, a soft, suede-like microfiber that helps protect your device from scratches.

Q: Is the case padded?
A: The Alcantara lining provides a soft protective layer against minor scuffs, but the case is not heavily padded like a synthetic laptop bag. Its semi-rigid Epi leather construction offers excellent structure to keep your device secure and maintain the case's shape.

Q: How should I care for Epi leather?
A: Epi leather is robust and easy to maintain. Simply wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid contact with grease, hand creams, or harsh chemicals. When not in use, store the case upright in a breathable dust bag to preserve the leather's finish.

Q: Where is the date code located?
A: On Louis Vuitton Epi pieces, the date code is typically stamped into the seam of the inner lining or embossed on a small leather tab inside. As this is a vintage item, our experts verify this code along with the hardware and materials as part of our rigorous authentication process.

Q: What is the condition of this specific item?
A: This vintage piece is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The silver-tone hardware is shiny with light scratches, and the external and internal materials are well-preserved. Please refer to the detailed condition rating and photos on this page for a closer look.
