Q: What size is this bag charm?
A: The measurements of this piece are approximately 14.2 cm in height, 6 cm in width and 1.2 cm in depth. It is a statement accessory rather than a tiny charm, so it will be noticeable when attached to a handbag or set of keys.

Q: How should I care for this charm?
A: To help preserve the finish, avoid dropping the charm or exposing it to water, perfume, oils, or prolonged direct sunlight. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after use and store it in its dust bag and box when not being worn. Extra care is recommended around resin details, crystals and metal hardware, as these decorative elements can show scratches over time.

Q: Will it fit any handbag?
A: This type of charm is generally best suited to bags with a handle, ring or hardware point where the clasp can be secured. It works especially well on totes, top-handle bags and other structured styles, but compatibility can vary depending on the thickness and shape of the handle or attachment point.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

These charges are typically collected by the shipping carrier at the time of delivery and are not included in the product price.

Please allow up to 10 business days for your return to be completed from the return shipping date as shipping time might vary depending on shipping country and shipping provider.

Q: What is the Louis Vuitton Fleur d'Etoile Bag Charm?
A: It is a decorative Louis Vuitton bag charm featuring the House’s floral Monogram-inspired motif. This piece is designed to add a playful, jewellery-like accent to a handbag and can also appeal to collectors of Louis Vuitton accessories.

Q: Can this piece also be used as a key holder?
A: Yes, many Louis Vuitton charms of this style are designed with a clasp that can be attached to a bag or used to hold keys. As always, we recommend checking the photos and product information for the exact attachment style on this item.

Q: What size is this bag charm?
A: The measurements of this piece are approximately 14.2 cm in height, 6 cm in width and 1.2 cm in depth. It is a statement accessory rather than a tiny charm, so it will be noticeable when attached to a handbag or set of keys.

Q: What colour is this item?
A: According to the product data, this Fleur d'Etoile Bag Charm is pink. Please note that tone can appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings, so we recommend referring to all product images as well as the listed colour information.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This item comes with product information including a box and dust bag. If something is not listed under product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What is the condition of this bag charm?
A: The overall condition is Very Good, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: What does the code GA0171 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton codes from this era are date codes rather than unique serial numbers. The code GA0171 indicates production in 2011, and it is commonly interpreted as week 7 of that year. A date code is one element of authentication, but it should always be considered alongside materials, construction, stamping and hardware details.

Q: How do you authenticate pre-owned Louis Vuitton accessories like this one?
A: At A Retro Tale, pre-owned designer pieces are assessed for authenticity using details such as materials, craftsmanship, date code format, hardware, logo stamping and overall construction. For Louis Vuitton, the date code supports the assessment, but it is not treated as the only proof of authenticity.
