Q: What are the dimensions of this Louis Vuitton Speedy 40?
A: This bag measures approximately 40 cm wide × 24 cm high × 20 cm deep, with a handle drop of 8 cm. The 40 refers to the bag’s approximate width in centimetres.

Q: What can I fit inside the Speedy 40?
A: Its generous dimensions offer room for everyday essentials such as a purse, phone, sunglasses case, book and toiletries pouch, with space for additional items depending on how you pack. Avoid overfilling the bag or forcing bulky items through the opening.

Q: Is the Speedy 40 suitable for everyday use?
A: It may suit you if you prefer a spacious handbag or regularly carry more than the basics. At 40 cm wide, it is a substantial size, so consider whether you are comfortable carrying a larger bag by hand, particularly when it is full.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No shoulder strap is included. This is the classic Speedy 40 rather than a Bandoulière version, and it is intended to be carried using its two top handles.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is in Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs for a closer look at its appearance.

Q: Are a padlock, keys, dust bag or box included?
A: No accessories are included with this item, as stated in the product information. This means a padlock, keys, dust bag and box are not included.

Q: Will this Speedy 40 fit my laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this specific bag. Compare your laptop’s dimensions, including its protective sleeve, with the bag’s measurements of 40 × 24 × 20 cm. External measurements do not guarantee usable interior space, and the opening may limit what fits comfortably.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin listed for this particular Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy 40 is France.

Q: How should I care for and store this vintage Speedy?
A: Gently remove surface dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, leather oils and soaking the handles or trim. If the leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free cloth. Do not overpack the bag, and store it in a breathable protective bag in a ventilated place away from heat.
