OmegaConstellation 22mm Diamond Quartz Watch

Q: Is this watch battery-powered or automatic?
A: This Omega Constellation uses a quartz movement, so it is battery-powered rather than automatic. Quartz models are valued for dependable accuracy, slim proportions and easy everyday wear.

Q: How often will the battery need replacing?
A: On Omega quartz watches, battery life is commonly around 3 to 5 years, although the exact interval depends on use, age and overall condition. For a vintage piece like this one, battery changes are best handled by a qualified watchmaker or an authorised Omega service centre.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
A: We would treat this as a vintage dress watch rather than a swim watch. Constellation Mini models from this family offer everyday water resistance, but Omega also recommends regular water-resistance checks because seals age over time. Unless it has been freshly pressure-tested, it is safest to avoid showering, swimming and prolonged water exposure.

Q: What wrist size will it fit?
A: This watch currently fits a wrist of 16 cm or smaller. If you need a slightly smaller fit, the bracelet may be adjustable by removing links. If you need a larger fit, please note that no extra Product Information or spare links are included with this piece.

Q: How does the 22 mm size wear on the wrist?
A: A 22 mm Constellation wears very petite and elegant, with a jewellery-like feel rather than a large modern watch presence. It is ideal if you prefer delicate proportions and a refined late-1990s look.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: It is in very good vintage condition overall. The listing notes visible scratches on the metal, plus scratches on the case, case back and bracelet, along with light signs of use internally. In short, expect honest wear consistent with age rather than an unworn finish.

Q: Does it come with box, papers or other Product Information?
A: No. This listing states that no additional Product Information is included. If something is not listed on the product page, it should be assumed not to come with the watch.

Q: What do the reference number and serial number tell me?
A: Reference 1567.66 identifies the model configuration, while serial number 56611999 is unique to this individual watch. Together they help place the watch in the correct Constellation family and support the stated 1998 production period, but full authentication should also consider the dial, case, bracelet, movement and finishing.

Q: What makes the Omega Constellation special?
A: The Constellation is one of Omega’s most recognisable lines, known for its Roman numeral bezel, integrated bracelet design and signature claws at the case. This example adds a pink dial and diamond hour markers, giving it a distinctly feminine and collectible neo-vintage character.
