PradaRe-Nylon Bucket Hat

Q: What does size 58 mean and how do I know if it will fit?
A: Size 58 corresponds to an approximate head circumference of 58 cm, broadly equivalent to a medium fit. Measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears; if you are between sizes, consider sizing up slightly or using hat-sizer tape for a snugger feel.

Q: What is this Prada bucket hat made from?
A: It is crafted in Re-Nylon, a regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled and purified plastic waste (including ocean plastics, fishing nets and textile fibre waste). This piece features Prada’s enamelled metal triangle logo and is made in Italy.

Q: Is the Re-Nylon bucket hat waterproof?
A: Re-Nylon is a technical nylon that offers light moisture resistance, but it is not rated as fully waterproof. It will handle a brief shower, but we recommend avoiding prolonged heavy rain and allowing the hat to air dry naturally if it gets wet.

Q: How should I care for and clean it?
A: Prada advises letting the hat air out after each wear and avoiding frequent washing. For a thorough clean, use a specialised ecological dry cleaner. Between cleans, gently wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid bleach, high heat or tumble drying.

Q: Is this style unisex?
A: Yes. The minimalist bucket silhouette is designed to be worn by anyone and pairs easily with casual or polished looks across seasons.

Q: Can I fold or pack it for travel?
A: The nylon construction is lightweight and flexible, so it can be packed gently. Avoid tight folds or long-term compression to minimise creasing, and store it stuffed lightly to help maintain its shape.

Q: What condition is this specific piece in?
A: Very Good overall with light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please review the photos for close-up details.

Q: What is included with the purchase?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information on this page. For this item, no additional items are listed.

Q: How do you authenticate this hat?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is thoroughly examined by our in-house experts using multi-point checks of materials, construction, hardware, stamps and branding. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide further details on request.
