PradaSaffiano Leather Bolo Tie

Q: What is this Prada bolo tie made from?
A: It is crafted in Saffiano calf leather with a cross‑hatch texture and a protective finish, paired with silver‑tone hardware and an adjustable slide featuring the enamelled triangle logo. This construction makes it durable and resistant to light scratches and splashes in daily wear.

Q: How long is it and how does the fit work?
A: As listed under Measurements, the overall length is approximately 90 cm with a slim cord about 1 cm wide. The slide mechanism allows easy adjustment to most neck sizes—raise it to the collar for a smarter look or lower it for a relaxed pendant style.

Q: How do I wear and adjust a bolo tie correctly?
A: For a classic look, button the shirt to the top and position the slide at the collar. For casual outfits, set the slide around mid‑chest or wear it as a pendant over knitwear. When adjusting, hold the back of the slide and move it gently; avoid pulling on the leather cords so you don’t stress the clasp or the leather.

Q: Is this style unisex?
A: Yes. Bolo ties are designed to be worn by all genders. They work with crisp shirts and tailoring, but also style well over tees, fine knits, or dresses. The ecru tone pairs effortlessly with navy, black, grey, and pastels.

Q: Will the slide or tips mark the leather over time?
A: Light contact marks can occur with normal use. Minimise friction by adjusting from the back of the slide, keeping the cord ends even, and storing the piece with the slide centred so the cords are not compressed.

Q: How should I care for off‑white Saffiano leather?
A: Wipe with a clean, dry, soft cloth after wear. Store in a breathable pouch away from heat and moisture. Avoid oils, alcohol‑based cleaners, and coloured fabrics that may transfer dye (for example, dark denim). For stubborn marks, consult a professional leather care service.

Q: What exactly is Saffiano leather and why is it popular?
A: Saffiano is a stamped, cross‑hatched leather finish originally created by Prada. The textured surface and coated finish help it keep its shape and resist everyday scuffs, which is why it’s widely used for small leather goods and jewellery‑style pieces like this.

Q: What is included with this item?
