Bottega VenetaIntrecciato Bag

Q: What size is this Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Bag, and what will it fit?
A: This bag measures approximately 25 x 19 x 12 cm with a handle drop of 9 cm. It is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, and a few compact cosmetics. For the best indication of capacity, please refer to the Measurements on this page.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This piece features a single flat shoulder strap and is designed to sit neatly under the arm or on the shoulder. With a 9 cm handle drop, the fit may feel closer and more compact depending on your frame and outerwear.

Q: Does this bag close securely?
A: Yes. According to the product details, it has a top zip closure, which helps keep everyday essentials secure while giving the bag a clean, streamlined shape.

Q: What materials and details does this bag feature?
A: This vintage piece is crafted in orange Intrecciato leather and finished with gunmetal hardware. The interior is lined in suede, which adds a soft, luxurious feel typical of many classic Bottega Veneta designs.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with most vintage leather bags, small signs of wear are part of the character of the piece.

Q: How should I care for Intrecciato leather?
A: Intrecciato leather should be handled with care and kept away from liquids, oils, make-up, perfume, heat, direct sunlight, and rough surfaces. For day-to-day care, gently wipe with a soft dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid overfilling, as this can strain the woven leather over time.

Q: Is suede lining delicate to maintain?
A: Suede lining is beautiful but can be more prone to marks and rubbing than a smooth lining. It is best to keep pens, cosmetics, and dark or abrasive items in small pouches inside the bag to help prevent transfer and surface wear.

Q: Does this bag come with any extras?
A: No. The product information states no accessories, so this listing is for the bag only unless otherwise noted in the product information.

Q: Is this bag authentic, and does it need a serial number to be genuine?
A: A Retro Tale states that all items are authenticated before sale. With vintage Bottega Veneta, authenticity is often assessed through overall craftsmanship, leather quality, weave consistency, hardware, stamps, and interior details rather than relying only on a serial number. For this specific listing, no serial number is provided in the product information.

Q: Can Bottega Veneta bags be repaired or serviced?
A: Bottega Veneta offers aftercare and repair support for certain items through its service programme. For a vintage pre-owned piece, repair options can vary depending on the style, age, and type of wear, so any restoration should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
