CelineKnot Bracelet

Q: Is this Céline Knot Bracelet authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What is it made from? Is it solid sterling silver?
A: Céline Knot bracelets are typically crafted from brass with a silver‑tone/rhodium‑tone finish. Unless a piece is hallmarked with a silver fineness mark (e.g., 925), it is not solid sterling silver. This bracelet is described as silver‑toned metal.

Q: What are the size details and how do I know if it will fit?
A: Our listing shows an approximate inner perimeter of 14.5 cm and a bracelet width of 1.3 cm. To check fit, measure your wrist where a cuff sits and compare to the wearable inner circumference (inside length plus the gap). If you’d like the exact gap and gram weight, just ask and we’ll measure them for you.

Q: Is the cuff adjustable? Can I bend it for a better fit?
A: Cuffs allow minor micro‑adjustments, but repeated or forceful bending can stress the metal and may crack or prematurely wear the plating. Find a comfortable fit once and avoid frequent reshaping. If significant adjustment is needed, we recommend consulting a professional jeweller.

Q: How do I put on a cuff bracelet correctly?
A: Slip the opening over the narrow, fleshy part on the side of your wrist (as if giving a handshake), then rotate into place. Avoid pulling the ends wide each time you wear it—this helps preserve shape and plating.

Q: What hallmarks should I expect on Céline jewellery?
A: Expect a CELINE or CÉLINE signature, often with “PARIS” and “Made in Italy,” with placement varying by season. Pieces from different eras may show either the accented “CÉLINE” (pre‑2018) or the later “CELINE” logo. Our close‑up photos show any stamps present on this bracelet.

Q: How should I care for the silver‑tone/rhodium‑tone finish?
A: Keep the bracelet dry and away from perfumes, lotions, hand sanitiser and chemical dips. After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not use abrasive polishing cloths on plated finishes. Store separately in its pouch/box to minimise scratches. Over years of use, a jeweller can refresh the finish with professional replating if desired.

Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin? Is it nickel‑free?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys and platings may contain trace nickel. If you have sensitivities, limit wear time, keep the piece clean and dry, and consider using a clear barrier product on contact points. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and contact us for guidance.

Q: What condition should I expect and what is included?
A: This bracelet is in Very Good Condition with gentle signs of prior wear possible (e.g., micro‑scratches). Only accessories specifically shown or listed are included—this piece comes with a box. Returns are accepted in line with our standard policy; please see our Returns page for details.
