CelineTriomphe Pouch

Q: What are the measurements and what fits inside?
A: Approximately 24.5 × 17 × 0.5 cm. It comfortably holds a smartphone (including most Pro/Max sizes), passport, cardholder, keys, lipstick and slim sunglasses in a soft sleeve. A6 notebooks fit; larger A5 notebooks and tablets do not. As a flat pouch, it is best for slim, everyday essentials rather than bulky items.

Q: Does this pouch come with a strap or wristlet, and can I add one?
A: This is a handheld zip pouch without a strap or D‑rings. It is not designed to have a chain or strap clipped to the zip pull, which could stress the hardware. Many clients use it as a clutch or as an organiser inside a larger bag.

Q: What is Triomphe canvas and how durable is it?
A: Triomphe is a printed coated canvas paired with calfskin leather trim. It is lightweight and hard‑wearing, offering good resistance to light scratches and everyday use. Like most coated canvases it is water‑resistant to splashes but not fully waterproof, so prolonged or heavy rain should be avoided. Store away from strong heat and humidity to preserve the finish.

Q: How should I clean and care for the materials?
A: Wipe the coated canvas gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid alcohol, solvents and antibacterial wipes. Nourish the leather trim sparingly with a neutral leather cream when needed, testing on a hidden area first. For storage, keep it lightly filled to maintain shape and place in its dust bag, out of direct sunlight.

Q: Is this item vintage and where was it made?
A: Yes—this is a vintage Céline pouch, crafted in Italy. It is graded Very Good with light signs of use; the hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches, as noted on this page.

Q: What is included with this piece?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information on this page. For this pouch, a dust bag and a receipt are included.

Q: Does the pouch have a serial number or date code, and how is authenticity verified?
A: Many vintage Céline items feature an internal date code (format and placement vary by style and year). Date codes are not unique serial numbers but can indicate production details. At A Retro Tale, each item undergoes a multi‑point authentication of materials, stitching, stamps, hardware and construction; additional photos can be provided on request.

Q: Is Triomphe canvas vegan?
A: No. While the body is coated canvas, this line is typically finished with calfskin leather trim, so it is not a fully vegan construction.

Q: Any tips to keep it looking its best day to day?
A: Avoid overfilling to prevent warping, keep away from dark denim or freshly dyed fabrics that may transfer colour to the leather trim, and dry the pouch promptly if it gets wet. Rotate use and store properly to maintain the vintage finish over time.
