Chanel2.55 Choco Bar Accordion Flap Bag

Q: What does Choco Bar Accordion mean?
A: Choco Bar refers to the rectangular, chocolate-bar-style quilting rather than the bag’s colour; this example is black. Accordion describes the folded sides that give the bag its distinctive shape.

Q: What size is this Chanel 2.55 Choco Bar Accordion Flap Bag?
A: This is the Small variant, measuring approximately 23 cm wide, 18 cm high and 11 cm deep. Use these measurements rather than the size name alone when comparing it with other Chanel bags.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: Based on its dimensions, it should accommodate everyday essentials such as a phone, compact wallet, keys and a few small cosmetics. The usable interior is smaller than the external measurements, so fit depends on the size of your belongings. Avoid overfilling to preserve the bag’s shape.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: This item is listed as a shoulder bag, with handle measurements recorded as 22/40 cm. Crossbody suitability is not confirmed and will depend on your height and preferred fit. Please ask for clarification of the carrying measurements if crossbody wear is essential.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is graded Very Good Condition. The exterior has light marks and scratches throughout the material, while the interior shows light signs of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, so this is not a pristine or unworn piece.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: The product information lists an authenticity card and a serial number tag. A box and dust bag are not listed as included.

Q: What is the serial number, and does it prove authenticity on its own?
A: The recorded serial number is 6965587. A serial number or authenticity card alone should not be treated as conclusive proof of authenticity; assessment also considers the bag’s construction, materials, stitching, hardware and markings.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin recorded in the product information is France.

Q: How should I care for and store this vintage Chanel bag?
A: Handle it gently, avoid overfilling and keep it away from prolonged sunlight, moisture, perfume and cosmetics. Use a soft cloth for gentle surface care, and blot any water carefully with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth. Avoid applying cleaning or conditioning products without advice appropriate to the material. When not in use, store it upright in a breathable dust bag if you have one, with the chain positioned so it does not press into the exterior.
