ChanelCaviar Wallet On Chain Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel Wallet On Chain?
A: Think essentials: a smartphone, flat cardholder or the built‑in card slots, notes, coins, a key fob, and a lipstick. A passport also fits flat. To preserve the silhouette, avoid bulky items and do not overstuff—refer to the Measurements for exact capacity (approx. 19 × 12.5 × 3 cm).

Q: Will it fit an iPhone Pro Max?
A: Most standard-sized phones fit comfortably. Larger models like the iPhone Pro Max can fit if angled and with a slim or no case; very thick cases may prevent the flap from closing neatly. If you use a rugged case, we suggest removing it before placing the phone inside.

Q: How long is the strap and how does it sit when worn?
A: The chain-and-leather strap on this piece has an approximate 60 cm drop, which typically wears crossbody on most heights. Chanel WOCs generally have a long strap drop around 60–62 cm. You can double the chain inside for a shorter shoulder look or tuck it in to carry as a clutch.

Q: Is the chain removable or adjustable?
A: The chain is fixed and not removable. You can shorten the carry by looping or doubling the chain under the flap. Avoid tight knots or metal clips that could imprint the leather.

Q: What is the interior like and how many card slots does it have?
A: The classic WOC layout usually includes six card slots, a zipped pocket under the flap, slip pockets, and a main compartment. This item features a burgundy leather-and-fabric interior with multiple compartments and card slots; please see the photos for the exact arrangement on this vintage piece.

Q: How secure is the closure on this WOC?
A: This bag has a flap top with a snap button closure designed to keep contents secure during everyday wear. For longevity, avoid forcing the snap if the bag is overfilled.

Q: Is caviar leather durable for daily use?
A: Yes. Chanel’s caviar leather is a grained calfskin known for its structure and resistance to light scratches and scuffs. Compared with lambskin, it is generally more hard‑wearing and low‑maintenance, making it an excellent choice for frequent wear.

Q: How should I care for this caviar leather WOC?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use. Store upright, lightly stuffed to maintain shape, with the chain wrapped to prevent imprints. Keep away from prolonged sunlight, heat, humidity, and colour‑transfer risks. For deeper cleaning, use only leather‑safe products sparingly or consult a professional.

Q: Is this item vintage and what is its condition?
A: Yes, this piece is listed as vintage and in very good condition. There is minor rubbing on the corners, light interior signs of use, and hardware that remains shiny with light surface scratches—please review the images for details.

Q: What is included with this item and how is it authenticated?
A: Everything included is listed under product information; this item comes with a serial number tag. Our in‑house experts authenticate every piece through multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, and stamps, and we stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
