Q: What size is this Chanel CC Brooch?
A: This brooch measures approximately 3.5 cm high, 5 cm wide, and 0.3 cm deep. It is a versatile size that can make a statement without overwhelming a blazer, knitwear, scarf, or coat lapel.

Q: Is this a good everyday brooch size?
A: Yes, for many people it is. At 5 cm wide, it is noticeable but still wearable for day-to-day styling on a jumper, blazer, or coat. If you prefer understated jewellery, it will read as a statement accent rather than a tiny pin.

Q: What should I check before buying a pre-owned brooch like this?
A: The most important things are dimensions, condition, included product information, and overall wearability with your wardrobe. For this piece, the key details are its 3.5 × 5 cm size, very good condition with light traces of use, and that no product information is included.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: What size is this Chanel CC Brooch?
A: This brooch measures approximately 3.5 cm high, 5 cm wide, and 0.3 cm deep. It is a versatile size that can make a statement without overwhelming a blazer, knitwear, scarf, or coat lapel.

Q: How can I style a Chanel CC Brooch like this?
A: Chanel brooches are commonly worn on jacket lapels, coats, knitwear, scarves, and even hats. With its classic CC design, this piece works well for both everyday tailoring and more dressed-up looks.

Q: What condition is this brooch in?
A: This item is listed in Very Good Condition. According to the product information, it shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this brooch come with a box, authenticity card, or other extras?
A: No. The product information states that this item comes with no product information included. If something is not listed in the product information, it should not be expected to be included.

Q: How do I know this Chanel brooch is authentic?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is authenticated by in-house experts using a multi-step review process. This allows you to shop pre-owned luxury with added confidence.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Chanel brooch?
A: Handle it gently and avoid contact with water, soap, perfume, detergent, and other chemical products. It is best to put on fragrance and cosmetics before wearing the brooch, then store it separately in a soft pouch or box after use to help minimise scratches and wear.

Q: Can a vintage Chanel brooch develop scratches or patina over time?
A: Yes. Light surface marks and gentle ageing are common with vintage costume jewellery, especially on pieces that have been worn. This brooch already shows light scratches consistent with very good pre-owned condition.

Q: Is this brooch suitable for gifting?
A: It can make a lovely gift for someone who appreciates vintage Chanel jewellery. However, because the product information states that no extras are included, buyers looking for a full-set presentation should keep that in mind.

Q: What should I check before buying a pre-owned brooch like this?
A: The most important things are dimensions, condition, included product information, and overall wearability with your wardrobe. For this piece, the key details are its 3.5 × 5 cm size, very good condition with light traces of use, and that no product information is included.
