ChanelClassic Jumbo Double Flap Bag

Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel Classic Jumbo Double Flap Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 30 cm wide, 20 cm high and 9 cm deep. These are the measurements of this particular pre-owned piece.

Q: What can fit inside the Jumbo size?
A: The Jumbo size generally accommodates everyday essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys and a small cosmetics pouch. Actual capacity depends on the size of your belongings, and the inner flap reduces the usable space. Avoid overfilling or forcing the bag closed.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The chain strap can be doubled for shorter shoulder wear or extended for a longer shoulder or crossbody position. The listed strap measurements are 33 / 60 cm. Crossbody fit and comfort depend on your height, build and clothing.

Q: What does double flap mean?
A: Double flap describes a bag with an outer flap and a second flap inside, covering the main compartment. The inner flap provides an additional layer of coverage but also takes up some interior space.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This bag is in Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor marks on the leather and a slightly dented shape at the front. The interior shows light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: This particular bag is pink and was made in France, according to the product information.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: The product information lists a dust bag, an authenticity card and a serial number tag. A box is not listed as included.

Q: How should I clean and care for this bag?
A: Use a soft cloth for gentle surface care and avoid cleaning products that could alter the leather or hardware finish. Protect the bag from prolonged sunlight, heat and moisture. If it gets wet, gently absorb the moisture with a non-pilling cloth. Ask a leather-care specialist for advice before treating existing marks.

Q: How can I help prevent colour transfer onto the pink leather?
A: Avoid prolonged contact and repeated rubbing against dark or strongly dyed clothing, particularly denim. CHANEL recommends limiting contact between light and dark colours to minimise colour transfer onto leather or clothing.

Q: How should I store the bag when it is not in use?
A: Store it upright in its dust bag, away from direct light and moisture. Lightly fill it with tissue paper to support its shape without stretching it, and wrap the chain in tissue paper so it does not press against or mark the leather.
