Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel Satin Coco Ball Chain Tote?
A: With approximate measurements of 28 × 21 × 5 cm, it comfortably holds a large smartphone, continental wallet, keys, sunglasses, and a small cosmetics pouch. It will not fit A4 documents or a laptop; a slim tablet such as an iPad mini may fit with a slim case, but a full‑size tablet is unlikely.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The dual chain-and-leather strap has an approximate drop of 40 cm, which is designed for shoulder carry. It will sit high if worn crossbody and is not intended for most body frames as a crossbody bag.

Q: Is satin a delicate material and how should I care for it?
A: Yes—satin is sensitive to moisture, oils, abrasion and colour transfer. Avoid rain, hand creams and dark denim contact; do not use protective sprays. Store the bag lightly stuffed in a breathable dust bag, with the chain tucked and separated from the fabric to prevent impressions.

Q: How should I clean marks on the satin?
A: For light marks, gently blot with a soft, slightly damp, lint‑free cloth and allow to air dry. For stubborn spots, test a tiny amount of mild soap on an inconspicuous area and dab—never rub. Avoid harsh chemicals and heat. For difficult stains, consult a professional handbag care specialist.

Q: Does the bag close with a zip?
A: This model has an open top for easy access. For added peace of mind, keep valuables in the interior zip pocket and/or a zipped pouch, and carry the bag under your arm in crowded places.

Q: What is the Coco Ball detail?
A: The Coco Ball is a decorative charm integrated into the chain strap on certain 1990s Chanel designs. It adds a playful vintage touch and is not designed to be removed.

Q: What year is this piece from based on the serial number 2353692?
A: A seven‑digit Chanel serial beginning with “2” generally corresponds to the early 1990s (approximately 1991–1994). Use this as a dating guide only; Chanel did not publish exact month/season by serial.

Q: What items are included with this bag?
A: Everything that comes with the item is listed under product information on this page. If an item (such as a dust bag or box) is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: Every piece at A Retro Tale is examined by in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and serials. This bag includes a matching authenticity card as listed in product information, and the serial number is present (noting the sticker is damaged, as described).
