Christian DiorLeather Pouch

Q: What fits inside this Christian Dior Leather Pouch?
A: With approximate measurements of 20 × 13 × 2 cm, it suits daily essentials such as a large smartphone, passport, slim cardholder, folded notes, keys, and a lipstick or compact. Because it is a slim profile, bulky items like a long zip‑around wallet, chunky power bank, or a large key fob may overfill it. Please refer to the photos and Measurements for guidance.

Q: Will a large smartphone (e.g., iPhone Pro Max or similar) fit?
A: Yes. Most large smartphones fit comfortably thanks to the 20 cm width and 13 cm height. If your phone has a very rugged case or you carry multiple items together, the zip may feel snug—packing flatter items helps.

Q: Does this pouch come with a strap or wristlet, and can I add one?
A: No accessories are included with this listing, and this model is designed to be carried by hand or used inside a larger bag. Some owners online experiment with third‑party strap conversions, but we do not recommend modifying this pouch as it lacks built‑in strap attachments and such alterations can stress the leather.

Q: Does the pouch have interior pockets or card slots?
A: It has one main compartment with a red lining and no additional pockets or card slots. A separate cardholder is ideal if you wish to organise cards and cash.

Q: How can I use it from day to evening?
A: By day, it works as a tidy bag‑in‑bag organiser for your phone, cards and keys. For evening, the slim silhouette and gold‑tone accents make it a refined clutch for dinners or events. It also functions well as a travel pouch for a passport, phone and boarding essentials (digital passes).

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Wipe the leather gently with a soft, dry cloth after use. Keep it away from water, oils, alcohol‑based products (including hand sanitiser), and prolonged heat or sunlight. If desired, apply a light, pH‑balanced leather protector suitable for handbags and test on an inconspicuous area first. Store the pouch loosely stuffed to maintain shape, in a breathable dust bag, and polish hardware with a clean microfibre cloth only.

Q: How can I prevent colour transfer on red leather?
A: Minimise friction against dark or raw denim, especially when new; ensure garments are washed before first wear; avoid humidity; and keep the pouch dry. A protective spray formulated for smooth leather can add a barrier, but prevention (careful contact and dry conditions) is best. If dye transfer ever occurs, consult a specialist leather care service for assessment rather than scrubbing at home.

Q: Where is the Dior date code and what if I cannot find one?
A: Many Dior bags and small leather goods feature a date code on a small tag or within a seam, but placement varies by model and era. On compact pieces it can be hard to access, and some items may not have a visible code. Authenticity is assessed by many factors—materials, stamps, stitching, and hardware—not by a code alone.

Q: Is this item authentic?
A: Yes. Every piece at A Retro Tale undergoes a multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, reviewing materials, stitching, stamps and hardware. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and are happy to provide additional details on request.

Q: What is the exact condition of this pouch?
A: Very Good overall. The exterior shows a small mark on the leather; the interior has light traces of use; and the gold‑tone hardware is shiny with light surface scratches. Please see the images for close‑ups of these minor signs of wear.
