FendiLeather Shoulder Bag

Q: What fits inside this Fendi leather shoulder bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 26 x 20 x 6 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, and a few compact personal items. It is not large enough for a laptop or bulkier items. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most exact sizing.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: This is a shoulder bag and is best carried on the shoulder. The strap drop is approximately 20 cm, so for most people it will not sit like a true crossbody bag.

Q: How is the bag organised inside?
A: The bag has a dark fabric lining, one internal zipped pocket, and a front flap closure. It offers enough organisation for essentials while keeping a slim, elegant profile.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition. The exterior shows creased leather, scuffed corners, and visible wear around the strap. The interior has light signs of use, and the hardware is tarnished. These are consistent with age and careful prior wear.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: No additional product information is included with this bag. Everything that comes with the item is reflected in the product information on this page; if something is not listed, it should be assumed not to be included.

Q: How should I care for the grained leather?
A: Wipe the leather gently with a soft, dry or very lightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol-based products, perfumes, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, rain, or humidity. When not in use, store the bag in a breathable dust bag and lightly stuff it to help maintain its shape.

Q: How should I care for the rose gold-tone hardware and tiger’s eye buckle?
A: Because the hardware already shows tarnishing, it is best to handle it gently and avoid abrasive polishes or aggressive metal cleaners, especially near the leather and stone detail. A soft dry microfiber cloth is the safest option for light surface cleaning. For deeper restoration, a specialist is recommended.

Q: How do you authenticate a vintage Fendi bag like this?
A: Authenticity should never rely on just one detail. Vintage Fendi bags are typically assessed through the overall quality of the leather, stitching, hardware engraving, lining, logo stamps, construction, and any serial or production markings that may be present. At A Retro Tale, items are vetted by experts before being offered for sale.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the listing details, this bag was made in Italy, which is consistent with Fendi’s heritage and production for many of its leather goods.
