GucciGuccissima Cosmetic Pouch

Q: What typically fits inside this Gucci Guccissima Cosmetic Pouch?
A: With measurements of 16 x 12 x 5 cm, it is best suited to small daily or travel essentials such as lipstick, mascara, a compact, cards, keys, travel-size toiletries, or other small items. It is a compact pouch rather than a large toiletry case, so bulkier items will not fit comfortably. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the best indication of capacity.

Q: What material is this pouch made from?
A: This piece is crafted from black Guccissima leather, Gucci’s embossed GG leather, and is finished with gold-tone hardware and a tonal fabric lining.

Q: Can it be used only for cosmetics?
A: Not at all. Cosmetic pouches are often used to organise handbag essentials, travel toiletries, cables, cards, or other small personal items. This one can also work as a compact hand-carried pouch for streamlined day-to-evening use.

Q: Does it close securely?
A: Yes. The pouch has a zip closure, which helps keep smaller items safely contained inside.

Q: Does this pouch have a strap or handle?
A: No strap or handle is listed for this item. It is designed as a compact pouch to be carried in the hand or placed inside a larger bag.

Q: What condition is this vintage pouch in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition. The exterior shows minor scratches, the interior has minor stains, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with gentle pre-owned wear.

Q: Is anything included with the pouch?
A: No additional items are included according to the product information.

Q: How should I care for Guccissima leather?
A: Gently wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth after use and avoid harsh cleaning or protective products, as these can mark or alter the finish. Keep it away from prolonged heat, direct sunlight, humidity, and rain, and store it separately in a soft breathable pouch when not in use.

Q: Is this an authentic Gucci item?
A: Yes. All items sold by A Retro Tale are carefully authenticated by in-house experts using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware, stamps, and other brand-specific details.

Q: Is Guccissima the same as canvas?
A: No. Guccissima refers to leather embossed with Gucci’s GG motif, so it has the look of the monogram in a leather finish rather than in canvas.
