HermèsClipper 24mm ca 2010 Diamond Watch

Q: What is the Hermès Clipper 24mm Ref. CL4.230 (ca 2010)?
A: It is a petite 24mm ladies’ Clipper crafted in stainless steel with a bezel set with 12 diamonds and a white mother‑of‑pearl guilloché dial. This example is Swiss‑made and comes on a stainless steel link bracelet with a deployment clasp.

Q: Is this model quartz or automatic?
A: The CL4.230 is powered by a Swiss quartz movement for accurate, low‑maintenance timekeeping. Typical battery life is around 2–3 years; we recommend professional replacement so the gaskets can be checked at the same time.

Q: Does it have a sapphire crystal?
A: Yes. Clipper models of this era are fitted with a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal for enhanced durability and clarity.

Q: Is the watch water‑resistant?
A: Many 24mm Clipper references were originally rated to around 30 metres (3 ATM). As this is a vintage piece, we cannot guarantee current water resistance without a fresh pressure test. Please treat it as splash‑resistant only and avoid swimming or showering with it.

Q: Will this watch fit my wrist?
A: This piece fits a wrist of up to 16 cm circumference. The bracelet can be shortened by removing links. No extra links are included with this listing.

Q: What is the condition of this specific watch?
A: It is graded Very Good overall. There are minor surface scratches on the case, case back and bracelet consistent with careful wear. Please review the photos for a close look.

Q: Does this reference include a date display?
A: Many CL4.230 configurations feature a date window at 3 o’clock. Please refer to our listing photos of this exact watch to confirm the dial layout and functions, or contact us for verification.

Q: Can I change the bracelet or add links?
A: The stainless‑steel link bracelet can be sized by removing links. Additional links may sometimes be sourced on the secondary market. Strap swaps may require Hermès‑specific end links; compatibility with third‑party straps varies—consult a trusted watchmaker.

Q: What is included with the purchase?
A: This listing is “watch only” and does not include the original box or papers. Your purchase is backed by A Retro Tale’s lifetime authenticity guarantee, secure insured shipping, a 14‑day return policy and a 12‑month movement warranty.

Q: How should I care for the mother‑of‑pearl dial and diamond bezel?
A: Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfibre cloth, and have gemstones and gaskets checked periodically by a professional to ensure settings and seals remain secure.
