Q: What size is this Hermès Large Sarong Scarf?
A: It measures approximately 150 x 180 cm, giving it an oversized format that works beautifully as a sarong, shawl, wrap or travel layer.

Q: How can I wear this sarong scarf?
A: Large sarong scarves are commonly worn tied at the waist as a beach cover-up, draped over the shoulders, styled as a halter-style wrap, or folded as an oversized scarf. The generous size makes it easy to experiment with different ties.

Q: Is it suitable as a beach cover-up?
A: Yes. A 150 x 180 cm format is ideal for sarong styling because it offers enough length for waist, shoulder and dress-style ties while remaining easy to fold into a holiday bag.

Q: What design and colours does this piece feature?
A: This vintage Hermès piece is multicolour, with a light blue base, a yellow border, and an airplane and palm tree print for a playful, travel-inspired look.

Q: What condition is the item in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition with light traces of use. As with pre-owned textiles, gentle signs of age and handling are normal and part of the character of the piece.

Q: Where was it made?
A: The country of origin label states France.

Q: What is the material composition?
A: The fibre composition is not specified in the product information shown here. If you would like the fabric details confirmed before purchase, it is best to contact customer care.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Hermès sarong scarf?
A: Handle it gently and avoid rough surfaces, perfume, oils and prolonged moisture. For cleaning, a specialist dry cleaner experienced with delicate luxury scarves is the safest choice, especially for vintage printed fabrics.

Q: Is anything else included with the item?
A: No extra items are listed as included with this piece.

Q: Is this item authenticated?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale states that all items are checked by in-house experts and sold as authentic pre-owned pieces.
