PradaSaffiano Lux Promenade Top Handle Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Prada Saffiano Lux Promenade?
A: Based on the listed measurements (approx. 33 × 22 × 14 cm), it comfortably carries a long wallet, smartphone, keys, sunglasses case, a small water bottle, a compact cosmetics pouch, and a tablet up to about 11 inches. Most 13-inch laptops are usually too tall for the dome-shaped zipped opening—please compare your device to the measurements for certainty.

Q: Is a shoulder strap included and can it be worn crossbody?
A: Yes. This listing includes a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, and with an approx. 55 cm drop it can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody for many users. The bag also has dual rolled top handles with an approx. 10 cm drop for hand or crook-of-arm carry.

Q: How is the interior organised?
A: It has a black logo jacquard lining with one internal zip pocket and one slip pocket, plus a secure top zip closure—ideal for everyday essentials while keeping contents tidy.

Q: What is Saffiano leather and how should I care for it?
A: Saffiano is a premium calf leather stamped with a crosshatch texture and finished with a protective waxed coating, valued for its durability and resistance to light scratches and moisture. For care, gently wipe with a soft dry cloth, avoid harsh cleaners, and store the bag stuffed to maintain shape in a breathable dust bag away from heat and humidity. For deeper cleaning or colour touch-ups, consult a professional leather specialist.

Q: Is this size suitable for work documents or a diary?
A: Slim notebooks, a diary, or papers up to around A5 and some B5 planners fit comfortably. Full A4 folders are generally too tall for the 22 cm height and the curved zip opening, so we recommend checking your specific item against the measurements.

Q: Is the Promenade considered a structured bag?
A: Yes. The Promenade is known for its structured silhouette in Saffiano leather, which helps it hold its shape well with regular use when not overfilled.

Q: What is included with this specific item?
A: The product information for this listing notes a dust bag, key ring, and a detachable shoulder strap. If an item isn’t listed under product information, it is not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes a multi-point authentication by our experts, assessing leather quality, stitching, hardware engravings, logo plaques, interior branding, and coding where present. Typical Prada indicators include crisp, evenly spaced logo lettering, “Milano” and “Dal 1913” on the triangle plaque, high-quality Saffiano leather, and consistent branded hardware.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin label for this item states Italy.
