Q: What size is this Saint Laurent Cassandra Belt?
A: The listed measurements are approximately 80 cm in length and 1.5 cm in width, giving it a slim profile. As no separate product size is listed, we recommend comparing these measurements with a belt you already wear comfortably.

Q: Can this belt be worn on the waist as well as through trouser loops?
A: Yes, it can work either at the waist or through slimmer trouser loops, depending on your personal measurements. Its narrow 1.5 cm width makes it especially versatile for dresses, blazers, tailored trousers, and jeans with finer belt loops.

Q: What are the main design details of this belt?
A: This piece is crafted in black leather and finished with gold-tone hardware. It features the iconic YSL monogram and a chain tassel detail for a distinctive Saint Laurent look.

Q: What condition is the belt in?
A: The overall condition is very good. There are light traces of use, minor scratches, and the hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches consistent with gentle wear.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This belt comes with its box, dust bag, and authenticity card. Everything included with the item is shown in the product information for this listing.

Q: Is this a vintage piece?
A: Yes, this item is listed as vintage. As with most vintage and second-hand designer pieces, slight signs of age and wear are normal and form part of its character.

Q: Will the leather show marks over time?
A: As with many leather belts, light surface marks can develop with use, especially on frequently handled areas. This example already shows minor scratches, so it will suit someone who appreciates gentle vintage wear rather than a pristine finish.

Q: How should I care for this belt?
A: Store it in its dust bag away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat. Wipe the leather gently with a soft dry cloth, and avoid rubbing the hardware or chain tassel against rough surfaces to help preserve the finish.

Q: How do you verify authenticity?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is carefully checked by in-house experts before sale. This piece also comes with an authenticity card for added reassurance.
