Q: Will the 17.5 cm length fit me?
A: 17.5 cm (about 6.9 in) suits most wrists around 15.5–16.5 cm for a comfortable drape on a link chain. Measure your wrist at the wrist bone and add about 1–2 cm for a relaxed fit. If you prefer a snug fit, add closer to 1 cm; for a looser fit, add closer to 2 cm. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact sizing.

Q: Can Tiffany resize or adjust this bracelet?
A: Fit alterations such as link shortening may be possible on some Tiffany chain styles after an in‑person assessment. Tiffany also offers cleaning and polishing services for Tiffany pieces. Availability, timing and fees vary by location and design.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: What is this bracelet made of?
A: It is crafted in sterling silver. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver alloyed with small amounts of other metals for strength and durability, which gives it its bright, classic finish.

Q: Does the heart padlock work as the clasp?
A: The bracelet closes with a lobster clasp. The filigree heart padlock with key is a decorative charm and is not required for fastening the bracelet.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish, and how do I keep it shiny?
A: Yes—tarnish is normal as silver reacts with air and substances like sulphur. Frequent wear, gentle cleaning with a silver polishing cloth, and storing the bracelet in an anti‑tarnish pouch help minimise tarnish. Occasional professional cleaning/polishing is also available if you want a deeper refresh.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
A: It’s best to remove sterling silver jewellery before showering, swimming or using hot tubs. Soaps, shampoos, chlorine and salt water can dull the finish and accelerate tarnish. Dry the bracelet thoroughly if it gets wet.

Q: Is sterling silver suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Sterling silver is generally well tolerated and is typically alloyed primarily with copper rather than nickel. However, sensitivities vary by person; if you have known metal allergies, consider a patch test and discontinue wear if irritation occurs.

Q: What hallmarks should I expect to see?
A: Authentic Tiffany silver typically bears Tiffany & Co. maker’s marks and a sterling fineness mark such as 925. Hallmark style and placement can vary by country, era and specific design.

Q: Can this bracelet or charm be engraved?
A: Tiffany offers engraving on select designs depending on metal, shape and space available. Whether this vintage bracelet or its charm can be engraved would be determined upon assessment by Tiffany’s client care team.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This listing includes the bracelet as photographed. No original Tiffany box, pouch or paperwork is included unless explicitly stated under Accessories.
