FendiSelleria Mamma Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Fendi Selleria Mamma bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 29 x 22 x 12 cm, this bag is well suited to everyday essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, a compact and a few personal items. The Mamma shape is known for being roomier than the classic Baguette while still sitting neatly on the shoulder.

Q: Is this the iconic Mamma Baguette style?
A: Yes. The Mamma Baguette was created as a larger, more practical version of Fendi’s original Baguette and is loved for its easy under-the-arm silhouette. This example also features Selleria detailing, a signature Fendi leatherworking style associated with refined stitching and heritage craftsmanship.

Q: Can this bag be worn comfortably on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This piece has a single adjustable shoulder strap with an approximate strap drop of 20 cm, which is designed for shoulder carry. The Mamma silhouette is especially popular because it tucks comfortably under the arm while still offering useful space inside.

Q: What are the key features of this specific bag?
A: This vintage piece is crafted in camel grained leather with signature Selleria stitching, silver-tone hardware, a magnetic flap closure and a tan suede lining. Inside, there is one internal zipped pocket for smaller essentials. It was made in Italy.

Q: How secure and organised is the interior?
A: The flap closes with a magnetic fastening, which makes the bag quick to open and close while helping keep your belongings secure. The interior has one zipped pocket, ideal for smaller valuables you want to keep separate from the main compartment.

Q: What is the condition of this particular piece?
A: This bag is listed in good vintage condition with light traces of use to the exterior. Inside, there are stains and marks on the lining, and the plaque is heavily worn. The hardware remains shiny but shows scratches and some discolouration. As with vintage bags, these signs of wear are part of the item’s history and character.

Q: How should I care for the leather and suede lining?
A: Store the bag in a dry place away from direct light, heat and humidity, and avoid contact with rain, perfumes, oils, solvents and abrasive products. For routine care, gently wipe the leather with a soft dry cloth and handle the suede lining carefully to avoid rubbing or staining. Keeping the bag lightly stuffed when stored can also help maintain its shape.
