GucciLeather Belt, Size 85

Q: What does size 85 mean on this Gucci belt?
A: Gucci belt sizing is measured in centimetres from the buckle end to the centre hole. On a size 85 belt, the intended fit point is 85 cm at the middle hole, with adjustment available on the surrounding holes.

Q: Who is size 85 usually best suited for?
A: Size 85 generally corresponds to approximately UK 10 / jeans 28 in Gucci’s women’s chart, or around waist 30 in Gucci’s men’s chart. Fit can vary depending on whether you wear the belt at the waist or lower on the hips, so comparing your own measurements is always the best approach.

Q: Will this belt fit if I wear it on the waist rather than the hips?
A: Possibly, but it depends on where you plan to wear it. Gucci belt sizing can feel different when worn high on the waist versus lower on the hips, so we recommend checking your own measurement against the size 85 fit point before purchasing.

Q: Can extra holes be added if the fit is slightly off?
A: Yes, extra holes can usually be added by a professional cobbler or leather specialist. For a luxury belt, professional work is the safest option as it helps keep the finish neat and reduces the risk of damaging the leather.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: This item is listed in Very Good Condition with light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle previous wear.

Q: Does this belt come with any extras such as a box or authenticity card?
A: No, this item comes with no accessories. Please refer to the product information for what is included with this specific piece.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Gucci leather belt?
A: Store it flat or gently rolled in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Wipe the leather with a soft dry cloth after use, avoid over-conditioning, and keep perfumes, oils, and water away from both the leather and hardware.

Q: Can light scratches on the hardware or signs of wear be repaired?
A: In many cases, yes. A specialist leather workshop or experienced cobbler may be able to clean, polish, or improve minor wear, although not every mark can be removed completely. For vintage luxury items, light wear is often part of the character of the piece.
