VersaceLogo Necklace

Q: Is this Versace Logo Necklace authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What is it made from? Is it solid gold?
A: This necklace is crafted from gold‑tone metal (typically a brass alloy) with a high‑polished finish. It features the iconic Versace logo plaque and a Medusa head charm. It is costume jewellery and is not solid gold. Please review the close‑up photos for material texture and finish details.

Q: What are the measurements and how will it fit?
A: The necklace has a maximum perimeter of approximately 55 cm. At this length, it generally sits at the mid‑chest level for a statement look. The charm height is approximately 1 cm.

Q: Is the length adjustable?
A: Yes, this necklace is listed as adjustable. You can typically fasten the lobster clasp at different points along the chain or extender to customise the drop length to suit your neckline.

Q: How does it fasten?
A: It secures with a classic lobster clasp closure, ensuring a safe and durable hold for everyday wear.

Q: What hallmarks should I look for?
A: Authentic Versace fashion jewellery is typically stamped with “Versace” and “Made in Italy,” often on the reverse of the pendant or on a small metal tag near the clasp. The presence of the Medusa head is also a key signature of the brand.

Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys often contain nickel or other base metals. If you have metal sensitivities, we recommend monitoring your skin’s reaction, avoiding direct contact with lotions, or wearing the piece over clothing. Discontinue wear if irritation occurs.

Q: How should I care for the gold‑tone finish?
A: To preserve the plating, keep the necklace dry and avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, lotions, and water. After use, wipe it gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove oils. Store it in its box or a pouch to prevent scratches and tarnishing.

Q: What condition is it in and what is included?
A: This necklace is in Excellent Condition, showing little to no signs of wear. It includes its original box. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
