HermèsEpsom Bolide 35 Bag

Q: What are the measurements of this Hermès Epsom Bolide 35?
A: This bag measures 37 cm wide, 26 cm high and 14 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 13 cm and the strap measurement is 40 cm. These item-specific measurements take precedence over general Bolide 35 size guides.

Q: What can I fit inside the bag?
A: Its dimensions suggest room for everyday essentials such as a phone, purse, keys, sunglasses and a small toiletries pouch, with space for additional items depending on their size. Avoid overfilling the bag or putting pressure on the curved top.

Q: Will this Bolide 35 fit a laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this specific bag. Compare your device and its sleeve with the listed measurements, bearing in mind that the curved top and zip opening reduce usable space. External dimensions alone do not guarantee that a laptop will fit or that the zip will close comfortably.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap, and can it be worn crossbody?
A: A shoulder strap is included, so the bag can be carried by its handles or worn on the shoulder. The listed strap measurement is 40 cm; crossbody suitability has not been confirmed and will depend on the strap's usable length and your preferred fit.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This bag is in good condition. The exterior has scuffing on the corners, wear on the handles and leather pull tab, and slight loss of shape. The interior is in good condition with some pen marks. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What items are included with the bag?
A: The product information lists a shoulder strap, clochette, padlock and key. A box, dust bag or authenticity card is not listed, so please do not assume these are included.

Q: What is Epsom leather like?
A: Epsom is an embossed calfskin known for its fine, regular grain, relatively light weight and structured feel. It is durable, but not immune to wear. This particular bag has documented corner scuffing and slight loss of shape.

Q: How does the Bolide close?
A: The Bolide design has a zip closure following its rounded top, allowing the main compartment to be closed rather than left open. This bag also includes a padlock and key, as listed in the product information.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: The product information identifies this bag as red and lists its country of origin as France. An exact Hermès colour name is not provided.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Protect the leather from rain, oils, prolonged sunlight and heat. Store it without compressing it, using tissue paper inside to help support its shape. Hermès advises against commercial leather-care products and recommends professional care by its craftspeople. Seek specialist advice for the existing pen marks rather than attempting to remove them with household cleaners.
